Easter for the Belknap Turners started out in Mulliken , with egg-seeking and egg strata eating at the Grandparents Walker house . Michigan Easters seem to always be a guess as to the weather, but you can usually predict that it will be a gray day with a chill. In Gary and Ginger's sunroom , Sophie is apparently nibbling something, and Cori is either dancing, or awaiting an urgent trip to the restroom. Grandma was on hand for moral support when Meg went to donate her hair to Locks of Love. Are you sure? Are you really, really sure you want to cut 12" off your hair? I guess so... Hey Meg, what kind of animal is that in your hand? And all her friends said OMG! Cute! Then we woke up at 5:30 am the next morning to catch the metro so we could participate in The Race for the Cure. We were a group of about 50 among 50,000 of our best friends at the Race for the Cure. We walked as part of the Mary Kay Ward Team. Mary Kay ran the Girls on the Run program at our elementary school until she lost her battle with breast cancer. WE DID IT!

On a blustery Friday during midwinter break, we all met at the Michigan Capital for a tour arranged by the Bebee family. We gathered in a small room on the ground floor for a brief safety and historical introduction before taking an elevator to the top floor to begin the tour.
