just rejoined the blog

Hello All, I was checking in the blog and have now migrated. Quick update around here: we've accepted an offer on our condo, from the current president of our condo association, and it seems solid. We close June 11th, so that's looking like our last day in Madison. R's parents are going away for the month of June, so we'll probably stay at their place in the city. Next weekend we go to NY to go apartment-hunting. I have an appointment with a Dr. Faust in Hell's Kitchen who's promised me the perfect apartment, and at a good price (he said something about a first born son but his cell networked dropped the call and I didn't catch the details!). It was fun to see all the sledding pictures -- we got a TON of snow here as did you all; I drove home from Chicago in that blizzard at the end of February, which wasn't fun, but now it's all melted and we're enjoying something like Spring. We celebrated Dr. Suess' birthday in the library with all sorts of fun activities. Thing 1 is my boss, Anne Calabrese. The Cat in the Hat was a parent, a very dedicated parent who read Dr. Suess books all day! (I made the sweatshirts!) Jason touring Vienna. Tough duty! Terrible picture, I know, but Meg is in black behind Christopher Butters who is wearing the huge bow tie. This was taken during the 6th Grade Chorus performance, Snow Biz. Sorry, no new pictures of Garrett this month. I'll make up for it next month. Enjoy!
